Welcome to the extended edition of Restoration Featuring the original 9 track project written and performed by Verb T and entirely produced by Malek Winter. In addition this version features 2 exclusive tracks not available to hear anywhere else. You will also receive all the instrumental and accapella versions of the songs. The album starts with Vortex, a state of confusion, not knowing which way is up, where we are listening out for our calling to try and find the way. Activate is where we start to find the strength to take on the challenges that we face whether day to day situations or more deep routed issues. Intent is where we find our focus, decide the effect we want to have and how we want to shape our words. Are actions can be positively or negatively charged by our intentions, awareness is vital. Stoned Sinatra represents the lonely part of the journey where procrastination and escapism hit and sometimes that’s just fine, especially when you have good weed. Mere Mortal featuring the mighty Flyy Hooligan speaks of the duality within us all where we can feel superhuman or perhaps forget we’re human, but life will always remind you how fragile the human condition is, people will remind you how shit human beings can be and it’s almost always down to they’re own insecurities and issues. Breakage is the point at which the journey seems to fall apart, when the things that aren’t working become all consuming. As paralysing as the feeling can become it is often the ideal window to self reflection, self acceptance and the catalyst for change. Rubble is where we look at the remnants of what is broken down. Although we are looking at shattered fragments of what was or what is ceasing to be, these can also become parts of the building blocks for your future. The track features the irrepressible BVA who put it perfectly – “Sometimes you got to break it just to recreate it, shape it with withered hands out of the straggled frayed bits” Restoration is where we realise we have all the pieces and that the divine is inside us all. We have the ability to heal ourselves in ways we don’t always realise and often couldn’t have imagined until we start to see change and progression The closing song Thankful is an expression of gratitude for the journey and the appreciation of being able to create and communicate clearly.
