I would like to start by thanking Vitamin D and Jah Safe. After I saw them battle dozens of rappers in the park, winning the Rhyme Spitters battle tournament back to back years, I was inspired to master my craft. Because of underground legends like yourselves and others, Chicago continues to be high-ranking regarding lyrical ability, style, and creativity. Thank you guys for taking me under your wing. It was Vitamin and Jah that put the battery in my back and the fire in my heart. It was those days we spent freestyling and having writing sessions in the kitchen over Kenautis beats that really made my sword sharp. It was Jah’s sky lectures and vitamin D’s endless metronome abilities that set the bar. Thank you for introducing me to Kenautis and sparking this legacy. Also, I would like to thank Jason Judah for inspiring me and making an impact, and helping me keep my head on a swivel.
