Tracks such as ‘Heartaches and Troubles’ serve as the perfect lounge tribute, with strings that speak to the Rat Pack and a downtempo beat making it dark and alluring at the same time. That theme continues as the album meanders through waves of melancholy with the notable blues influenced ‘Just Before Dawn’ announcing the light of the day.
