LINER NOTES BY PARKER PUBS: Why the fuck you reading about hip hop when you should be listening?! You tryna learn some shit, nerd? All right, fuck it, let’s say a few words about it… Anarchitact is an MC/producer out of Deventer, the Netherlands. This EP, Daddication, is a prequel to his upcoming album, Taciturnity. He produced all the beats and he rhymes on every track. The title Daddication carries some deep emotional significance for him. A few years back, due to issues with his ex, he had to move out of the house—and he wasn’t able to see his daughter for almost 2 years. Losing his daughter hit him hard. He recalls solemnly, “I was in the gutter—I was down. I was ready to leave this world.” His friend took him to a jam session and he freestyled, and it got him connected to music and life again. The idea behind this project was to create something musically to channel his dedication as a father—as he endured lots of court dates before judges to achieve the best outcome for his daughter. He started messaging dope MCs from the U.S. to reach out for collabs. This EP features verses from Myka 9 (Freestyle Fellowship), Riddlore (CVE), & Quaesar (RimeFytahs) of the heralded LA underground crew Project Blowed. Anarchitact: “To me, Project Blowed is like the pinnacle of lyricism, so I wanted to work with those guys, period.” This EP also features the luminaries Pacewon, Declaime, & Sensational. Anarchitact: “Declaime is a legend. Sensational is my hero—he’s a bad-ass motherfucker.” He also included his Dutch homies N, Mr. Midget, Renga, & Florent Stone. Though they hadn’t been in touch in 20 years, Anarchitact & Florent Stone grew up in the same place rhyming together, so this is a welcome reunion of old friends. After walking through the fire of losing her and many court dates later, Anarchitact’s daughter is now living with him full time. As he said, “All of this is for my daughter.” Stop reading this already & bump some hip hop from the heart. —Parker Pubs (@parker_pubs) [Parker Pubs is the editor/publisher of books on Eyedea, Myka 9, Riddlore, 2Mex, Otherwize, and Rifleman Ellay Khule.] credits released March 28, 2025 —- All songs written, produced, and recorded by Jan Willem Keen (Anarchitact), except features Mixed by Riversound www.riversound.nl Mastered by Statinski Mastering statinski-mastering.nl Cover art by Tiago Felipin a.k.a.
