Blacastan With my crew, we had a radio show back in Trieste. For years, we played underground Hip Hop from all over the World: by far, the best Hip Hop radio program in my country. Looking back, those were incredible moments, and I feel lucky to have lived that experience. Well, the basic structure of this tape was made back then. Later, some of us moved away, changed country, but we still managed to stay in touch. Few years later, Covid 19 arrived and, honestly, it gave us the occasion to try and finish this. And we mostly did. It was the first winter under Covid’s influence, and the overall gloomy atmosphere of the songs seemed to be perfect to describe our moods. You can easily seen the reason for the title. Life is strange. Soon after, we started to drift apart, without words or drama behind it. It’s probably normal. This tape and its cover has been sitting in my computer since then and now that this year is drawing to an end, I finally decided to publish it, as a sort of last hurrah of my crew.
