Nuke Fam Records Proudly Presents, Eskar’s Definitive Album: THY FLESH CONSUMED A few words from ESKAR: “Over the last few years, it’s been a constant struggle to rekindle my passion for music and find a bit of self-worth in a world full of negativity. Putting all my focus into Nuke Fam Records has been my only priority. But now I am proud to announce that my new album, Thy Flesh Consumed, is officially completed! When I set out to write Thy Flesh Consumed, I had it in my mind that this was going to be my last album. My retirement. My magnum opus. A reflection of where I came from and where I am today, as not only an artist but as a human. And yes, I know full well just how fucking pretentious that sounds. Whether this is my last album or not remains to be seen, but the only reason I was inspired to make this project in the first place was down to a supportive family friend who tragically took his own life. His last voice notes to me were used in what is arguably the most important track on the album: 116 123 (If you are struggling to cope, please ring this number and reach out). There are instrumentals and bars within this project that I’ve had for over a decade, stuff which has essentially stood the test of time, all reworked/refined into this nostalgic modern-day classic. It’s all the more special that every track has a different producer, all of whom have shaped me into the artist I am today. The album was originally 20 tracks long and has since been cut down to 13 (lucky number?) stand-out pieces (apologies to anyone who sent me a beat that didn’t make the cut). On top of working with my favourite producers, there are also features from some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop. It’s been a dream come true to work with the most talented artists who inspired me as a child. Music has consumed every ounce of my being for so long now, and this album is my (final?) ode to that. Thy Flesh Consumed is without doubt the definitive Eskar experience and will be released via Nuke Fam Records on limited edition 12″ vinyl (transparent with a multicoloured splatter effect) and all streaming services very shortly. We’ve even created a special vinyl mix so the whole album flows seamlessly without compromising on quality. Some music videos are also in the works, and I’m putting together an album launch event followed by a little UK tour. Do it right or not at all has very much been the motto here and despite the detrimental impact this project has had on my mental health, social life and finances, I’m determined to push it as far as I can to go out with a BANG! In other big news, I recently found out that i’m going to be a dad. So i’m now entering the scariest yet most exciting and rewarding chapter of my life. With the support of my beautiful fiancée we’re really hoping this album can provide some much needed pocket money to give the little one a more comfortable life, as well as re-invest some pennies into the label so we can get some bigger projects off the ground. But with a minimal marketing budget, none of this is going to work without your help and engagement. So please, don’t be a stranger. Keep them comments and shares coming, spread the word, support/buy the music, get excited, and let’s prove that even an old nobody from Yorkshire going at it independently can take on the big dogs. If you are an active DJ, radio show, magazine, blogger, YouTuber, influencer, promoter, etc, then please drop me a message and I’ll send you a full copy of the album for free! Shouts to everyone involved and everyone supporting, and all the absent friends and family waiting for us on the other side. This record is for you.” READ THE INFINITE SOUNDS ALBUM REVIEW HERE: infinitesoundsuk.blogspot.com/2024/05/album-review-thy-flesh-consumed-by-eskar.html credits released June 14, 2024 Thirst Track produced by DJ Illas (Music remake).
