This album is a journey through my memories, some good and some painful. Its the kind of nostalgia thats bittersweet. When you’re a kid, you think whatever you’re living in, good or bad, is going to last forever. You don’t realise how quickly people leave, how fast places change and how moments fade. I grew up in care, bounced around from place to place, and spent a lot of time on my own, running, hiding, surviving. These songs are stories from that time. They’re about what it felt like to fall asleep in someone else’s house and to pack your life into a bag. No sugarcoating, This album isn’t about perfect childhoods or happy endings. It’s about growing up fast, missing things you never really had, and still finding beauty in broken moments. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt lost, out of place, or like home was something you had to build for yourself. I hope when you listen, you feel what I felt making it.
