This project really began with me just being in a good creative space. I liked what I was recording. For a long time, there wasn’t a theme for it. There wasn’t a name. Until I listened to an interview with the late DJ Clark Kent who was asked to define music. He responded with “Music is the best language ever created…” I could not agree more. What I was doing started making more sense. This constant theme in my head drove me to continue creating something that I truly feel is some of the most fulfilling art I’ve ever been a part of. This album could not be what it is without the MC, Producer, DJ and Engineer names you see listed. There are also a number of very intentional quotes sprinkled throughout this project.
