Latest production from the independent label OF POP RECORDS, LOST YEARS is an instrumental rap tape, aimed at singers, MCs, rappers and all fans of old school hip hop.
In a melancholic style, the piano present throughout the tracks is superimposed on the electronic beats. The guest instrumentalists (violin, trombone, duduk…) bring their colors to the tracks thanks to captivating melodies.
Like a nod to pay homage to the early years of rap, the tape Lost Years, recorded at the OFPOP studio, was released on August 15, 2023 in K7 format, in a limited series of 50 numbered copies.
Now available digitally, Lost Years is a nostalgic evocation of past and lost years. It’s a tribute to old-fashioned rap, a major inspiration for the OFPOP label.
