Burnt Bakarak of burntuprecords.bandcamp.com is a hilarious dude, not to mention an incredibly talented beat maker. His signature sound has an undeniable bounce and Iced Down Envelopes is the result of he and Sankofa recording 20 songs. 10 songs are slated for this release with the other 10 designated for a Kofa Card Club member exclusive drop. Burnt sent Kofa his trusty microphone to record these tracks, the same mic Kofa returned to him in what essentially ended up being about as safe as a Musktruck, in that the foam cover was shredded during return shipment. Sankofa is reportedly still embarrassed at his well meaning but ultimately amateur microphone packaging efforts, vowing to create cradles of care for future shipments.
