He had began producing beats in the year 2000 gaining plenty of experience throughout the years using only an MPC which helped him carve out his own unique style of chopping samples and creating his modern sound of that classic East Coast/Boom Bap flavor. Beginning as most producers do, which was making beats for friends and personal acquaintances, he found himself branching out to other artists in his area, leading to other artists contacting him for instrumentals. Eventually, in 2015, he was producing beats for Swedish rapper Adoo Den Fede, creating their first EP together titled “Malmø Bullshit” which ended up streaming over 100k on Spotify. With that type of momentum, the duo went on to create the follow up “Malmø Bullshit Vol 2”, but this time as a full album. Since then, DW has been working with numerous emcees, including Taiyamo Denku, Urban Legend, Rambunxious, Smeag Scientist, Thrust OG, K-Prez, LuGhz, The Inglorious Poet, Soulsaga and various others. He’s also released several singles, full length albums, and everything in between. His productions have been heard several times on Swedish radio, various live shows throughout Sweden, and his reach continues to grow across the world. In 2023, he signed with Twoface Media and continues building with the artists involved inside of the organization. He has music with Space Kase, Pestilence, and is working with Nate Nasty and I B Bumpin from Lobotomized Geniuses as well. 2023 wasn’t necessarily a new beginning, just another chapter in DW Underground’s music book that shows his hunger and exhibits his drive for hip hop. Currently living with his family in a small village outside of Malmö, DW is ready for whatever the future of hip hop may bring his way. **************************************************** About Space Kase aka Jester Exodus: Born and raised in the ever growing small town of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, Space Kase has been musically involved for a long time. Before diving deep into the world of hip hop, he was a vocalist/keyboard player for heavy metal bands V.A.D. (Victims of the American Dream) and Dichotic. At the time, Space also began producing hip hop as well as drum and bass simply as a hobby all under the handle “Jester Exodus”. During a stint of incarceration, Kase began writing lyrics and came up with ideas that would later become Twoface Media and the hip hop trio-turned-duo known as Chump Service. Once released from jail, he acquired the means to begin recording and engineering mainly for Chump Service. Eventually, 2009 came and Chump Service began performing. It wasn’t until the third emcee (known as “Skills”) would leave the group and Chump Service would begin performing all over Wisconsin. Although their hometown was golden for local music, it lacked events that catered to heavy metal and/or hip hop. It was time for Twoface Media to change that by setting up events that included both styles, and in later years, EDM events as well. By 2014, Twoface Media had a roster of hip hop groups Chump Service, The Brotherhood, and Sheol Dynasty, as well as drum and bass productions by Jester Exodus and metal band V.A.D. Sheol Dynasty (Space Kase and Tigga aka Drew Lines) began to make serious waves and became the center of attention for Space. Dropping two full length albums and completing three U.S. tours, Sheol Dynasty would eventually end on good terms with both Space and Tigga focusing more on solo music. Space released his debut “Not What You Think” in 2019, followed by a the mix tape “Declassified” which was a compilation of previously unreleased material, some of which collected dust as far back as 2012. Soon to follow was “The Low Down” with U.K. producer DROOM, the “Let Em Know/Don’t Let Em Know” split album with Pestilence, and then “Taking On The World” which featured emcees and producers from all over the world. To wrap up his solo era would be the masterpiece “Today” which was a collaborative work by himself and producer Certain T. After that, Space plans to wrap up a few group projects that he’s involved in, continue doing features for the near future, but mainly get back into production as Jester Exodus and simply focus more on studio work, engineering, and graphic design.
