Willie Lynch was a vicious slave master from the West indies who used the strategy of “divide and conquer” to control Africans who were enslaved. He felt that if he created a system where our ancestors were too busy fighting each other, they wouldn’t be focused on fighting for freedom. I believe those same tactics are being used today, especially in the music industry. With the help of our One Lexington’s #ItTakesAVillage Summer Youth Program, (many of which are rocking Manuel Patton & The Voyage Movement’s #AllInTheSameGang shirts) Unsung Hero Media put together a visual for a song entitled, “Willie Still Lynching” which can be found on my newly released album, “Voice For the Voiceless”. The new project with JK-47, is available on ALL STREAMING PLATFORM! The march to #HipHopIs50 continues!
