MF DOOM’s original group KMD were active from 1988 to 1994. This track recorded in 1987 predates their earliest release (Mr Hood, 1988) and is likely the earliest recording of Zev Love X (MF DOOM) put down on tape. The old school beat is bouncy and definitely ‘of it’s time’, but the undeniable flow of the late great genius is in full effect here; a piece of history finally seeing the light of day.
