Some people are afraid to try things because of the risk. Nobody wants a loss on their resume. In 2012 I was on Canada’s Got Talent and went all the way to the final episode. In my mind, I was prepared to win but in the years to come I discovered that my mind wasn’t prepared to lose. This song took me 12 years to write and it takes back something the show took from me.
